Addyson is one of the cutest two year olds around these parts. We were going to do a whole family session, but she decided to get a hurt lip while playing on the bleachers so this session is to be continued…for now you can just enjoy her cuteness before the bloody lip incident.

Let me just tell you, this was one of the easiest kids I have EVER taken pictures of. His mom said that when he was little he used to do some modeling…let me tell ya, he was pro. He kept asking me “like this”with his fist under his chin. It was pretty funny. He is so cute, I can’t wait to take pictures of his family in a few weeks!
Fathers day is coming up soon, June 21st to be exact. Don’t you think your proud husband/poppa needs a new picture for his desk or wallet? Isn’t this family adorable? I met up with them last week for some picture taking fun and I love how perfect their outfits were.
These field pictures are my favorite out of the bunch. These kids had such great personalities that show in all of them and like I said…love love love the dresses, and the pink and green combo.
I had a great time taking some photos at a wedding reception for a cute couple. They were married a week earlier in the Portland Temple so I asked if I could take some pictures during the reception for some practice. I definitely felt a little lost without Dustin there, the only other weddings we have shot at we have done together, but I think it turned out fine. I did realize, though, that it is definitely easier to have a second photographer at such an event. Next time he will have to be there.
I love all the details of a wedding!
My brother-in-law and sister-in-law had a picture like this (above) from their wedding, I loved it and have wanted to attempt it on my own (it was a great shot their photog came up with)
I loved the opportunity to do this to get some more work under my belt indoors with a flash. I was just disappointed my flash diffuser didn’t come in time, but what can ya do.
The day before Easter we rounded up all the kiddos to get a picture taken for Grandma and Grandpa Sockcick.
Some were sad (my two girlies) but we went on with the show and the results are pretty good considering there are eight kids age seven and under we had to keep happy in the glaring sun and prickly grass
I love this first one with all the funny faces, it just shows all of their personalities.
We, of course, had to get one of Grandpa with all the kids on the tractor, he always loves to drive them around on it
