Isn't she the cutest? I am sure she is huge now, since these pictures were taken over a month ago. Here are the things I LOVED about this day:
her hair, the natural light, the blanket that looked/felt like a teddy bear, the polka dot crib sheets, and a sleepy baby. I am sure there were more things that made this an awesome day for pictures too. Congratulations Melissa and Travis on your gorgeous baby girl!
I absolutely love taking pictures for military families. Some husbands are gone so often, that when they have time to get a family picture taken it is a rare chance to create memories for the family to have when daddy is gone. I love being able to provide this for awesome families around here. One thing that I have been hearing a lot lately when deciding on a location, is that almost everyone wants some pictures with the bridge in the background, it is a huge memory for them to have documented since they move around so much. Anywho, enjoy this gorgeous family, I sure did!

Way back when Melissa was still pregnant, we took some maternity pictures. Way back in July! She has since had her sweet baby girl, Madi, who I will be posting some newborn pictures of soon. This was such a great summer evening, great beach, great light, beautiful momma!
This is baby Olivia’s family. She is such a lucky little baby girl to be loved so much by so many people! Her big sis and big bro could not keep their hands off of her. The best part? She loves them just as much! What an awesome family and I had a great time with them!

Baby Olivia was just the sweetest little petite thing. For those of you who don’t know, I love teeny tiny babies. She was about a month old (I think) when I took these and she was still so teeny tiny. She has amazing blue eyes and was such a good baby to photograph. We shot all of these in about 20 minutes, pretty awesome!

Last winter (2009) I met Alyssa when she asked me to take some maternity pictures of her. A few months later, baby B was born and we took newborn pictures of him. Finally, last month, I took some family pictures for this beautiful family. I am so lucky to get to meet so many great people who allow me into their lives for a short while! Aren’t they gorgeous!
